OVERVIEW

This luxury tour extension begins with a flight from Jaipur to Delhi and a chauffeur-driven ride to the iconic Imperial Hotel in Delhi. Completed in 1936, the hotel is a mix of Victorian and colonial architecture. The Imperial is a perfect place to relax, get a massage, and prepare for our trip to the Taj Mahal.

After a good night’s rest and breakfast in one of the hotel’s six restaurants and bars, we will tour Old Delhi by car, by rickshaw, and by tuk-tuk. We will be guided on a culinary tour by a local chef through the spice market. In the evening we will be hosted at a private home for a cocktail party and street food sampling.

After two nights in Delhi will will be ready to hit the road in our chauffeured vehicle for the city of Agra and the Taj Mahal. Another five star hotel awaits us with a hosted dinner and guided tour of the Taj at sunrise.

We will say goodbye at the airport in Delhi for our onward flights home.
