It would take ten days to walk the lanes of the Dharavi Slum.  It is a city within a city. Slum is the wrong word – and also the perfect word.  Samir lives in Dharavi.  He also is working on a degree in zoology. Sam wants to open the first vet clinic in Dharavi. He goes to school at 6am and begins his tours by noon. His father and grandfather grew up in Dharavi. His great grandfather cut the forest to build the slum houses.
